Andy Murray has slipped one place to fifth in the latest world rankings, giving him a potentially tougher draw at the ATP World Tour Finals in London.
The Briton, 23, has been overtaken by Robin Soderling after the Swede won his first Masters title in Paris on Sunday. Both men are in the eight-man field for the end-of-season Tour Finals, which begin at London's O2 Arena on Sunday.
Murray will play either Roger Federer or Rafael Nadal in the group stage, but could now also face Novak Djokovic.
The Scot has been as high as number two in the world this year and before Monday had spent only three weeks outside the top four since September 2008, but defeat by Gael Monfils in the quarter-finals in Paris opened the door for Soderling to grab fourth spot.
