Speaking to reporters at a sponsor appearance in Hong Kong, Roger Federer has indicated he will play in next week's Shanghai Masters.Federer did not play Shanghai last year and, under ATP rules, is allowed to miss one Masters event a year without penalty because he has played more than 600 career matches."I practiced extremely hard for the last three weeks," said Federer.
"I'm a strong believer that when I'm at my best I can beat anyone," Federer told reporters in Hong Kong on Thursday. "But there's many guys around right now playing really, really well and Rafael (Nadal) being the No. 1 guy is a tough guy to beat."
