"I don't know how long it will take for me to get back to where I was. I have to work very hard to get back to the top 10 again because there are many good players who are coming up.
Well I guess he aware that you really have to be good to get in the top ten. thank`s to Rafa & Roger for raising the bar couple a notches!

Gael Monfils practicing his serve

Gael Momfils during a practice sessions US Open . He really do two things beautifully
- Bend his knees and turn his back to the net.
- Makes sure he`s on his twoes ( get off his heels)
This will ensure you will not double fault and you will hit a more powerfull serve.

Improve your backhand.

One of the most important components to your overall tennis game is the backhand. Two elements you need to practice the back hand effectively .
- The first thing is mind set you need to focus on the ball until it literally looks like slow motion, and then hit it with a fluid motion.
- The second is  repetition it might be boring but  It is essential to practice proper technique, even if it doesn’t necessarily come with the “finesse” that you want.

How to Practice Zen Tennis

Forget about what has happened in the previous point and focus on your next shot. Tennis is a short game when you think about it, and many players dwell on how they should have won that last point, what they did wrong, or how to win the next point. This takes away from your concentration bucket and causes more unforced errors.

Keep your eye on the ball. This is the key to good tennis, and you will naturally hit better shots.

Don't try to always hit the winner. If the opportunity presents itself then take it, but do not force the winner. By looking for winners, you are taking away from your concentration bucket, leaving less for focusing on the ball.

Federer after New York 2010

Roger Federer arguably the greatest player of all times has one thing to be happy about the year US OPEN  . That is he was able to hit another twineer . But looking forward he has to remotivate himself against the young guns coming after him . If you get 2 match point and not be able to seal the deal you must rethink your game plans. having said that I think Federer still has some juice left to win more grand slams.
The 24 year young Rafa Nadal has ended the tennis year as number one. completed a grand slam and manage to drop only one set at the US OPEN a hard court surface. I think it would be unfair to call him clay court specialist anymore. Pete Sampras said when asked if Rafa can break Roger Federer 16 major recored ? " If he’s smart with his schedule and the fact that he has so many at such a young age, he could very well do it,”
